Looking for books about BFing
Does anybody have any must reads for this? I am looking to get some that I can read in the next couple of weeks. And then maybe any recommendations on baby books that I can read in those first few weeks. I looked at the Urbandale library website and they have quite a few bf'ing books, just don't know which is the best. Thanks!

Re: Looking for books about BFing
I've ordered this one but haven't started reading it yet. It's a pretty big book/resource so it may take awhile to get through.

I've also thought about ordering this one:

I really liked The Nursing Mother's Problem Solver by Claire Martin. It's organized alphabetically so it makes it easy to find what you need, especially if you are having issues.
I also liked the America Academy of Pediatrics book on breastfeeding. It was really straightforward and had good pictures of the different positions.
So excited for you!
I read a couple books, but my favorite was this one:

It's lighthearted and funny but still gives you the necessary information. Definitely an easy to read book you could get through before your little girl arrives.
Any of Dr. Jack Newman's books are EXCELLENT! My faves. He also has two amazing websites. I agree with LuCinda--check out kellymom.com -- best breastfeeding website ever.
And, I HIGHLY suggest attending LLL meetings. :-)
