I am baking. I am also watching season 1 of Mad Men. I have already seen these, but I love love love this show.
Re: What is going on today?
I'm about to ring FedEx's neck!
I wish I was outside.
Oh Don Draper, you sexy, arrogant bastard. *swoon* My husband and I are totally going through some serious Draper Withdrawal right now, so we are going to rewatch from season 1. I can't believe we have to wait until March for new episodes! Stupid AMC.
I'm trying to keep busy, because work is deadly. I may have to start cleaning my office soon, that's how bored I am right now. I'm also obsessively checking my gmail for word on the interview I had yesterday, even though I know that I won't hear anything until next week. Because I am a crazy person.
I'm trying to get some work done and failing miserably. It's frustrating.
I'm also looking forward to lunch time so I can eat my leftover pizza.
What are you baking?
He is so incredible!
I'm like the only person on the planet who's never seen Mad Men.
I'm "working" but easily distracted....
Banana bread and molasses cookies. I had planned on making both on Monday, but realized I was out of flour. Then I was going to bake yesterday after going to the store, but I got too busy.
I noticed my molasses is going to expire in a week so now I have to find some other recipes to use it up.
I'm trying to work but am dealing with more wedding drama.
Um, GTG at cdc's place? Hahaha!
My mom uses molasses in sweet potatoes.
Just finished getting Car #1 inspected and it now has MA plates. I was going to register DH's cars today but he forgot to sign the paperwork. So I think we'll go to the Dedham farmer's market after DD gets up from her nap.
Other than that, just hanging out and waiting for my freelance work to pick up.
Our little Irish rose came to us on March 5, 2010
Don't drink the water.

Really??? Poor you! Why is there always so much drama around weddings?
I've never seen an episode of Mad Men, but then again, most things I watch DH has to like too.
I am going up to NH to my hairdresser and making some major changes aka. chooping my hair and changing the color. I'm really excited!! With all the craziness going on, I'm ready for an easy change
And I have an interview on Friday to potentially get back into retail. It's less moolah, but I would be happier.....and isn't that what's important? Plus a discount on clothes, yes please!
DH has his first show tomorrow night as an Acoustic Duo, so that's exciting.
Turning out to be a pretty good week so far!
I've never seen it either, Rock.
I'm working, trying to catch up on some paperwork, but not really succeeding.
I haven't seen it either. DH and I both have thought about watching it but we'd want to start with Season 1. We're too cheap to buy it so we'll have to see if it's On Demand or something.
Nothing special going on today.
It is on Netflix.
Or get it from the library. That's what I was thinking of doing. Glad to see I've got some company under this rock!
First... totally agree that Don Drapper swoon worthy.
Love Mad Men, can not wait for it to come back!
I had an awesome day. It started with a great trip to Castle Island with a good friend and her two ADORABLE little ones. Then I came home and had two colleagues over and we played recorder consort music in my garden while enjoying a great bottle of riesling and some fantastic pate. What a perfect summer day!
I love Castle Island! It's one of my favorite places in all of Boston. It's always amazing to me that more people don't know about it, but I guess if I hadn't had a friend who lived in Southie, I may not have either.
Burgers, rings, and shakes from Sully's are the best.
