Need non-dairy appetizers
Please help me!!!! My husband and I always have an end of summer get together with friends and this year it's at our place. I'm trying to plan out a menu and have most of all the main dishes ready, but I can't seem to find appetizers that don't have cheese, milk or any form of dairy in it. The reason why is that some of our friends are lactose intolerance. If you can help me at all I would greatly appreciate it.

You can make some type of spiced nuts or roasted chickpeas, bruschetta, stuffed mushrooms, hummus, maybe you can have fruit on the side or a pasta app if you can find one without dairy.
Shrimp cocktail. I also found this really good cucumber salsa recipe.
Don't deviled eggs have mayo?
My niece has a severe dairy allergy, so we do these a lot. Costco has a great mango salsa that's dairy free.
We also do shrimp and crab dip. And Veggies with Ranch - i can't recall which store brand doesn't have dairy in it, but it exists.
Hope this helps!
I also thought they had mayo, but there has to be a non-dairy alternative.
I think there are many options if the person enjoys fish.
Mayo is not a dairy product, it's made from oil and eggs.

I'm an idiot. I tend to lump eggs in with dairy because I was allergic to both as a kid.
