consignment for adult clothes?
Has anyone tried to consign adult clothes? Are there any stores around?
I assume clothes for adults don't sell well on craigslist, or am I wrong?
I literally am ready to get rid of 3/4 of my clothes. I don't mind sending most of them to goodwill, but there are a few name brand sweaters, dress pants etc. that I have a hard time not getting *something* out of.

Re: consignment for adult clothes?
I have taken stuff to Barbara's for years. Everything has to be pressed and on hangers. They look over everything and then give you what they reject. Sometimes I don't always get why they reject the things they do especially after looking around the store at the other merchandise. I was more selective in what I took - my better labels. In the past I have been content with what I received. More recently I have been disappointed in the the check I have received however. I don't blame the store, but it makes it less enticing to get the iron out to spruce things up and drive all the way over there. My SAHM wardrobe isn't really worth consigning. I have maybe 10 items I would like to consign but may just take the tax writeoff instead.
Good luck!
