Bare Minerals Gripe

I have been using Bare Minerals for a couple years and love the product.  But is anybody else aggravated over the new jars with those plastic tabs that you have to pull off?  I don't have the finger strength to grip enough to pull them off and have to get my DH to do it every time I open a new jar.  Once I ruined a perfectly good pair of tweezers trying to rip the thing off.  I like the fact that you can twist the jar closed, but that tab thing is just super annoying to me.  It would be much easier to just put a thin piece of sticky paper over the opening that you could just peel off with your fingernail.

LOL! Yeah, that thing pisses me off too! I do think overall the new packaging is better in regards to spills, but the tab sucks when you get a new one. I do have to say that I prefer the old jars for the mineral veil only, because I have found that when I am almost out, its nearly impossible to get the last little bit (I can see it in there!!!), and with the new jars, you can't screw or pop it off like you could with the old ones :-(. I don't have the same problem with the foundation, since its a bit heavier of a powder, so it comes through just fine.

I completely agree!  I never knew i could despise a little piece of plastic so much!

Ugh, yes! I had to use pliers last time. What are they thinking?

Well sure...but this is MAKEUP!!! Tools like this should not be necessary. I used me tweezers last time

Yeah.  I certainly don't want to have to add a pair of pliers to my makeup bag!  Maybe I'll stop by their site and see if I can write them an email and tell them to consider changing the tab.
