how long did your LO use their swing?

We got ours second-hand from my BFF, and it has apparently crapped out.  We're trying to decide if its worth getting a replacement motor at this point.

I think she used it til about 5 or 6 months...then she started getting nosey and preferred her jumper instead

Same here, by 6 months she was out of it. She wanted to be part of the action and was in the jumper more.

Right around 6 months DD stopped caring about the swing.

Ok, we decided to get a replacement motor - $40. We didn't pay for the swing, so the investment for a new motor should be worth it for another couple month's use.

And... I'm still hoping for another LO

From 3-6 months I'd definitely pay the $40 the swing was definitely great while it lasted

My kid hated the swing This one better live in it to make up for it! lol

Abe associated the home swing with sleep so he has hated it since about 2 or so months...maybe even less.

He still likes the one at school.

It was the only place she would nap until she was about 10 months old. I remember the motor died around 9 months and I would give it a push and she would fall asleep before it stopped swinging.
