iRobot® Roomba® Pet Series 532

Do you have this? What do you think...? We have two dogs and there is always hair on the hardwood floors. We don't have carpet in the house...one area rug. Thanks for your imput.

Re: iRobot® Roomba® Pet Series 532

  • we've got a roomba and one cat.  It can handle her hair no problem, but I kinda doubt it could handle dog hair for some reason.  The roomba gets jammed up often enough, that I just can't picture it tackling mass amounts of pet hair.  I've heard good things about the pet Series though.

  • We have it, and I love it.  We have two long haired dogs, and it handles the hair fine.

We have all tile and hardwood (with some area rugs), and I think it works best for these types of floors.

We did have a problem with hair wrapping around one of the rotating pieces and stopping it from rotating properly.  I called the company, and they replaced it free of charge.

I did make sure to get it from Hammacher Schlemmer, though.  They have a lifetime warranty on it, so if I have problems (past the one year mark where iRobot will help me), I know they will fix or replace it.
