I don't know if I posted this, but we got a new laptop. Stephanie I was going to call Bill but the hard drive was the issue and once that goes the whole computer is useless. I think this one. I'm just worried about messing it up.

I actually have two AW's this morning.
#1 - I made legit fondant last night. Not marshmallow fondat, not store bought fondant but legit from glycerin and gelatine and sugar fondant. It is beautiful and tastes awesome and it's a big deal cake moment for me.
#2 - This morning I realized I really needed to wash clothes so I had to go to the pre-weight loss section of my closet for a shirt. I decided to wear the shirt I wore in my e-pics last year.

I remembered being so self-concious about the shirt last year and not really feeling that comfortable in it because it was too tight in the arms and I felt like I couldn't breathe. It's AW, so I posted em. I am really happy.
I know! I kept coming to the bookmark just by habit...and when I got the message I felt like a sad puppy.

I got more work done this morning than I have in the last two weeks. I was beside myself!
Leslie Congrats!!! I can't wait for that feeling, but I'm definitely not working as hard as you are.

I don't really have an AW today. I have anxiety. We agreed to do something for someone a few months ago, with the understanding that this person would have their crap together... that is proving to REALLY not be the case, and now I don't wanna. But, my word is my word. Vague, I know... but suffice it to say, my afternoon will probably be a bit of a cluster.
We are going on our Restaurant Week Date Night tonight! I am very excited to try this restaurant at a cheaper price. Plus DH has been in classes every night this week from 4-7 pm so I feel like we have only seen each other in passing all week.
Leslie - that is so awesome about the shirt! Seriously, you are such an inspiration! And also the fondant - because most fondant tastes gross, so making yummy fondant is a pretty big accomplishment. And, you need a third AW - you made the yummy fondant AND got to rock your pre-weightloss shirt on the same day - the fact that your baking skills are improving so much, AND your weightloss is continuing at the same time, well, that's a pretty big accomplishment itself. Because if I baked as much as you, I'd be eating all the goodies!
I'm glad to know I wasn't the only one who checked about 17 times and was still sad each time I got to the dead end page!

My AW is that Matt was told on Monday that his job really likes him and they plan on keeping him even if the lady he is filling in for comes back. He really enjoys the job so this was so great to hear and I can have a little less anxiety that at any moment he could be let go.
Absofrigginlutely. I'm pretty sure that what this person is going to learn from having us model for them is, "get better looking, less awkward models next time." We are BEHIND the camera people, fo sho.

I really don't have an AW today, but may I ask if all of you could please keep my mom in your T&Ps today? She is having major surgery this afternoon. Her parents are there, but I can't be there.
I broke down crying last night bc she told me she wished I could have come down. Any postive thoughts, vibes and prayers would be welcomed! Thx ladies!

I LOVE this. Beyond love. Adore. I want to kiss her right on the face. I'm not as crazy about the part elsewhere on the site where she talks as if winning awards and striving for perfection is so wrong... but whatever. I'm so proud that someone in this industry took that stand. It's the same reason I sit down with people (and FB stalk them, if possible) before we take weddings. I want COOL people representing me!
