Games for 7-year old birthday party
We are having a birthday party next month for our 7-year old girl twins.
It will be an outdoor cook out. We have a pool and are renting a bounce house or slide, not sure yet. Anyone have any idea for what type of games to play? I know that they will have a lot to do with the pool and bounce house, eating lunch and then having cake, but I want to have some games ready to go, just in case. With the exception of some babies that won't be walking yet, there will be boys and girls there from age 5 to age 13.
Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
Re: Games for 7-year old birthday party
A pinata? Is it at your home? How many children will be present? How many hours will the party be? I have been to a few parties for similar ages and they seemed to entertain themselves. People also sort of came a bit early, left before cake, others came right before food was served.
We did fine with just a bouncy house and it was pretty cold that day.
If it is outside, maybe some lawn games? Or are you looking for something more structured to have them play together?
I would think you would have plenty for them to do.
The only other simple suggestion I would say is to get some side walk chalk.
Yes, it is at our home and I don't have a count on a number of children just yet. I am looking for something for them to play together but with with the age differences, lawn games might be best. (ring toss, maybe?)
The party starts at 2 pm and will be 3 to 4 hours, depends.
You could do some sort of craft. Just have all the materials set out on a table and they can do it whenever during the party. They could decorate a frame, make a beaded neclace or bracelet, etc.
You could also do a water balloon toss, since they are already wet. Divide kids up into teams of two and have them throw the balloon to their partner. Every once in a while have them take a step back. Last pair to have an intact balloon wins. The prize could be a cute beach towel.
