GTG Question...N/M...

So, I just, for the heck of it, checked out what flights would be for me...well, they are only $281 round trip for everything...which, I could possibly swing. The only thing, I have NO idea how much hotels would be, how I would get to where we are going...so, just to humor me, give me some advice...

Wow!! That would be awesome to have you join us Danie! The train could take you from the airports to Penn Station where we will be arriving Saturday pm, also close to where 4 of us are staying. Hotels are pretty pricey, and we swung it by bunking up (4 of us!) in one room each paying about $100 each. Stacy and Mel are staying together at a different hotel, I'm not sure what their set up is. And not to put anyone on the spot, but if one of the NYC girls was able to put you up if you'd stay overnight that may be another option rather than spending $250-400 on a hotel room.

Hope you can get it worked out so you can join the party! :-)

Ehh...yea, I have been looking at prices of hotels. This probably isn't going to happen, but oh well. I am, unless I get pregnant in the next few months, coming out to NYC in May with my mom, sisters, and grandmother, so hopefully a bunch of you local gals can meet me for lunch sometime when I am out there. Better to just save the money... : (....but it was fun thinking about it...

i checked out hotels a few weeks ago that the other ladies are staying at and they are all booked  up    hence why i'm only going down for the sunday brunch!

You should totally do it! It's like a once in a life time experience.  Your price is cheaper than what I paid for my ticket!

You girls are just too sweet. I really, REALLY wanted to do it, but I just can't. It really sucks, but I know I really need to buckle down these next few months until I get the pay raise. Ugh, being a grown up sucks!!!

Maybe since Rach is making the big bucks now she can spring for a Florida vacation for all of us! Hehe! : )

That was how I looked at it too.  I was serious about going for the day, but then I saw Delta's $1200 fare from Detroit, and with Priceline I had no idea what time of a returning flight they'd give me.    With my luck I'd have had to turn around an hour later and head back to the airport.

Hopefully the next one!
