As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

did you know that dutch workers.....
...who get sick while on vacation can CALL IN SICK TO WORK and have their vacation time haulted? They switch to sick leave. They then call back when they are better and vacation time resumes. Which means this whole effin week my husband has been on his deathbed has not counted as his vacation time and he gets another week later this year. It also means that farkin crap he PROMISED to do still isn't done yet. Yeah, I told him he can't call in sick to me and to "well up".....

No, never heard of that. Cool though (not that your H is sick, of course, but the concept).
Wouldn't work for so much as a minute here. I'm not being a jerk, it's true-- system would be totally abused. Sad, but true.
I can see how it would be abused. I guess here if you are sick for a lengthy time then they do require a doc's note. So it isn't like you can call in sick for 3 weeks just to score extra vacation pay.
Still, how crazy is that?!?!
