In the off chance...

Does anyone have any experience (or family/friends) with Orthopedic surgeons...

 Dr Asherman in Saco

or Dr Flannigan with Portland Foot and Ankle??

Re: In the off chance...

  • I had a bunion removed by Dr Juris at Portland Foot and Ankle. He was an amazing doctor. Great experience. Also, my grandfather sees him for various things and has never complained.

What are you having done? I would recommend Portland Foot and Ankle (Dr Juris because I have experience with him but the office is very nice with a comfortable atmosphere).

  • I haven't seen the particular doctor you're asking about but I really like Portland Foot and Ankle as well. I see Dr. Meredith there and the whole practice just seems very well run.
  • I have a rare accessory muscle in my foot that is trapping the nerves and has made my life miserable for 6 years after a work injury. Flannigan found it and has worked on other muscles like this, but not in this area. Asher am was recommended by my PT and has worked on 3 cases like this. I have surgery booked with flannigan but am debating Asherman now. I hate decisions like this and I'm so nervous about this already. Biggest fear is 3 weeks bedrest with a toddler and of course what if something goes wrong. I've had more surgeries than I can count, but now I have a kiddo. Thanks for the good recs on the office, I like both offices and both Dr's which makes my decision harder lol
