After I was adopted my parents found out they were pregnant with my brother...
People ACTUALLY asked if they would return me since they would have "THEIR OWN" child now. Can you imagine?

People do not know when to keep their mouth shut.
My Bro and SIL have 4 children, three are adopted. When she was pregnant with my one nephew they were in the process of adopting my other nephew. People would say things like "oh good, you will have your own baby" or "oh good you will have a real baby"...even now, a friend of mine kept referring to their daughter as "Oh, their adopted daughter's name is XXXXX" and I kept saying "Their daugther's name is XXXXX"...she should know better, she is Asian and hates when she is called "oriental"
