Addicted to Pinterest already!

Oh man, ladies. I went to Pinterest.com today to lurk around and check out pictures of kitchens and laundry rooms (we are looking at houses and now I am totally into decorating and renovating). I spent the last hour on this site checking out pictures. Set up my account and am ready to start pinning pictures i find online Have you checked it out yet?

Oh yes.  Love Pinterest.  Is it open now or still by invite?  I got pretty excited when two of my favorite bloggers began following my boards.  It was completely stupid.

I check Pinterest multiple times a day and always find something new to pin.

Oh yeah, I learned about Pinterest a few months ago and it was invite only then too.  At that time it had just gotten started and it took me a week to get an invite.

Ha. You just have to go request an invite and it will send you one. I joined last week and it took 10 minutes to get the invite.

I am addicted.

Pinterest is a lot like StumbleUpon -- it's a place where users can 'pin' pictures or videos that they like from all around the Internet.  It's awesome, because if I see a craft project I think is cool, I can pin it and have it saved for future reference all in one tidy area.  Think of it as a visual interpretation of your bookmarked websites.

Just to make sure that we are all enjoying it You can request the invite on the site and it comes in pretty quickly. In the meantime you can see everything that's on it, just can't create your own boards.

So now I'm addicted to Pinterest as well! I've spent the whole morning on it and part of yesterday evening...so much cool stuff!!! I requested an invite last night and got my wait list email...but haven't received my invite email yet! :-( Do they not think I'm cool enough to join?!?!?! This really bums me out...I can't wait to join the cool kids and start pinning! ;-)

Oh my goodness. Somebody just introduced me to Pinterest this afternoon and I'm already obsessed. I can't believe how awesome it is! I have been using it mostly just for recipes so far, and I can't wait to see what else I can find! 

 goldengirl- I just requested my invite and I still haven't received it either! Not good! Looks like I will be forced to bookmark all these cool recipes I want to start pinning!!!!

Does email address have anything to do with the lack of response? I've tried to request an invite several times over the last3 months or so, and I've still gotten no response. Sometimes I have problems with receiving emails with my AOL address. Has anyone with an AOL account had problems? I am so puzzled.
