I need some ideas for food to take camping with us. A couple days worth of meals. We'll be at a tent site and have a cooler and a grill, etc. Just looking for a variety of ideas since we have a lot of people with different tastes. Thanks!
Re: Camping food ideas
we just went camping and I did all the cooking over the fire.
steak
potatoes sliced thin with some onions and butter, seasonings of choice, wrapped in a few layers of foil and cooked directly in the flames
hot dogs, burgers
scrambled eggs for breakfast with leftover steak and potatoes
you could also bring some individual yogurts and some cereal for breakfast if you don't want to start a fire just for breakfast or even bagels with cream cheese
coldcuts and bread for lunch
fresh fruit
trail mix
marshmallows and smores fixins (peanut butter cups are awesome)
snacks-potato chips, pretzels
milk, OJ, sodas, and any adult beverages of your choosing. also coffee if you want to make it (I made a coffee tea bag by putting the coffee in the filter and tying it with floss and letting it sit in a pot of water over the fire, it was decent)
