Microsoft Word 2003 Help...please!!
I made a DVD case cover using a template but I can't get it to print! Everything is showing up on the screen in MW, but when I select the "print preview" icon, it comes up blank, and also when I print nothing comes out, but when I close the print preview screen everything is visible so I don't know why it's not printing... Can anyone help me? Thanks
Re: Microsoft Word 2003 Help...please!!
This may not be your problem, but I've had images in odd formats (usually made in other obscure programs) not print in Word, even if they show up on the screen. There are a few ways I've gotten around it, depending on the file type:
1. Save the image as something else, like a jpeg. This is the easiest, but not always an option.
2. Instead of regular 'insert image' or pasting, try 'paste special' (I don't remember Word 2003 that well, but it should be in whichever drop-down menu where you would find 'paste') and select 'picture (enhanced metafile)'. That one usually works, but sometimes I just have to go down the list trying different options.
3. Save the whole Word document as a PDF, then open it with Adobe and print it. This is generally how I print documents for work, anyway, but sometimes the images are still blank so I'm listing it last.
