A nice Philly day out. And my girls look great.

Once again I feel like the summer has passed me by, so on Saturday I insisted that DH and I go out and do something.  Museums were out, wanted something outdoors since it wasn't supposed to rain.  Considered Longwood, New Hope, Valley Forge - decided on Wissahickon Creek.

We had a nice lunch at Valley Green and then went for a walk down the trail.  Then we drove up to Chestnut Hill, parked and just wandered in and out of all the shops.  I got a bunch of used cd's at Hideaway Music and some Penzey's spices, and some invitations at the stationery store, and a baguette from Metropolitan.

It turned out to be a really nice and 'something different' day in our own backyard!

And on Sunday - the world famous Nordstrom's bra fitting.  Get one!  Ask for Diane in Cherry Hill she was awesome.  I'm officially a 36 D.  My boobs are saluting the world today.  Also, lingerie shopping leads to lingerie modeling leads to bow chicka wow wow!  lol. So glad I got the matching panties.  Wink

  • Sometimes i dream of having weekends like this . . . then its usually the stink of a dirty diaper that smacks me back to reality! Ditto to the bra fitting at nordstrom, i may have mentioned this, i went to the one in kop and i went in thinking I was a 38DD, came out with a 36F!

  • Sounds like a great weekend!  I need to get fitted for a strapless bra.  Every one I buy falls down...and I'm tiny up top!

Do you know I actually thought I saw you - were you on bikes?  It was like a corner of my eye thing and I thought.....hey was that lachute?  But then you were gone.

If you weren't on bikes someone out there looks like you, lol.

I used to work for Victoria's Secret in college and learned that whatever size they measure you at, you can usually go down one size in a strapless. Doing this helped me a lot!

  • Oh man, I got a bra fitting at Nordstrom in KOP a few weeks ago and it is like a whole new world with how much better clothes fit.  I was still wearing nursing bras that were nowhere near the right size.  Amazing

  • I've had about 4 different bra fittings and each time I buy new bras, my bra size changes. These babies can not be contained. I can't wait until I 100000% have my body back adn hopefully have a steady bra size. LOL
  • I'm not ashamed to say I bought the genie bra at BB&B the other day and I'm kind of loving it... it's like a sports bra with padding, and for us tiny booblet girls, that's a good thing!
