I'm working on some decorations for a book themed baby shower and I've made some library cards/pockets to stick in the front of the books that people are bringing as gifts. (The cards have a place for the title of the book, the name of the giver, and a message to the baby).
I need to find some type of adhesive to stick them in the books-- I will not be at the shower, so it needs to be something that I can attach at home and she can peel off the backing to stick in the books the day of the shower-- basically just a double sided tape. The pockets are about 3 1/2" wide and about 4" tall and I'd like the adhesive strip to be about 2- 2 1/2".
Any suggestions? Thanks ladies!

Could you do that red sticky tape?

you can stick it on at home and then they can peel the back off and stick
I wanted it to look like a library card and not a book label-- My friend is an academic and I thought this would be a nice nod to her and her shower theme.
But as her baby gets older, it would probably be a great idea to have her pull the cards and put them in his/her baby book! (She's team green.)
