DD SIL pic on FB?

Was it DD'ed? I thought it was on this board. Anyone catch it?

Re: DD SIL pic on FB?

  • I saw it early on, when OP wasn't getting the type of responses she would like-people were advising that she ask before posting pics of other people, and to just delete the pic already.

  • Of course she DD'd most of the responses told her she was out of line. Funny she had no problem taking her post down, but had issue with posting other poeples stuff on FB. Says a lot doesnt it?

  • I feel like we've had this past. About questionable bachelorette party picks or something.

All the young ones were like "Hey, if there is a camera around you can expect the pics to be posted on Facebook. Tough cookies if you don't like it."

All of us older ones who remember a time before the Internet were like "Of course you take down Facebook pics at people's request, you ill-mannered children."

Or that's my memory of it anyway.

    Yep, sure does.

  • That's exactly the way I remember it, too, Susie.  Damn kids and their rap music and flash dancing.

  • I was reading that post earlier here too. I do not see the point of DD-ing a post after you received so many responses. It's out in the open already. But good for her - she learned how to delete. Now she needs to apply it to FB.

I do remember it wthat way too susie. I specifically remember not agreeing with the fact that anyone can post whatever they want on their facebook page. I was upset when I finally signed up for facebook only to see that my picture was on a lot of people's page without ever knowing about it.

Everyone gives my sister a hard time because she does not want her photo on facebook. I just crop her out of pictures and respect her wishes because I'd like people to respect mine as well.
