Harrison is measuring in the 57th percentile for 33w1d gestation at 5lb1oz. He has a little bit of wispy hair on his head, and is always on the move...like literally shaking his booty the whole ultrasound, even when he was not moving his arms or legs (Seeing his little rump shakin on the TV made me LOL and cause much irritation to the US tech). I am doing fabulously, blood pressure has been the exact same number every appointment, and I have gained about 15 lbs. Very little swelling, and as far as my OB is concerned having about as textbook a pregnancy I could have for all my history and risk factors. I have technically started weekly appointments already, though I didnt necessarily have to start them this soon, it just seemed to work with my schedule.
We talked at length about my post-partum concerns and she agrees to look into getting me the pre surgery washes they are giving to a lot of surgery patients for prior to my c/s. She is also hoping that I do not labor at all and we just go in for the elective c/s on Oct. 3. Not laboring before a section will dramatically reduce my chances of infection. She will be using the same incision area, and cleaning up my scar a bit (Pretty substantial from previous section) and I will not have any staples only stitches, data is coming in from research advising against the use of staples, especially in abdominal and cesarean section procedures.
Things are looking awesome, though I am starting to get pretty nervous and excited all at once about Harry's arrival.
I just wanted to give a little heads up and tell y'all how I was doing
ETA: My ticker is off by a few days, they changed my Due date a while ago, but I never bothered to change it. My EDD is 10/9.
Re: Harrison update.
