Hi Ladies! Does anyone have any recommendations for a fertility specialist (RE) in the Hudson Valley? I live in the Fishkill/Pok area but am willing to travel to find a great doctor. Any advice would be great! Thanks!
Re: XP: RE Recommendation
You might look into RMA Connecticut. They have an office in Danbury, which should only be about half an hour from you. They have a good reputation.
There are other options in White Plains as well -- one of the ladies here saw Dr. Marvin Thornton, who is associated with Columbia University's fertility center. There is another doc operating as Westchester Fertility, but I saw mixed reviews about him when I was researching and decided not to go with him.
My doc is down in Paramus, NJ at the Valley Hospital Fertility Center, which has been great to work with so far, but is probablya bit far for you.
Keep in mind that, if you decide to do treatments, you could end up having to go 4-5 (or more) times per menstrual cycle for ultrasounds and bloodwork and procedures, so if you can find one you are comfortabe with closer to home (or work), it will make your life easier than if you have to travel an hour or more each way for each appointment.
BTW, if you are new to testing and are interested in learning more info, check out this post from one of The Bump boards that has a lot of basic info: http://community.thebump.com/cs/ks/forums/55426728/ShowThread.aspx#55426728 and also this website, which has good detailed information about testing and treatment: www.advancedfertility.com
Good luck!
