Hey, I submitted my application for a NICU III position.  Right now I am in the position at my current hospital to go through ECMO training, I am really sad I have to decline this because of the move, but hope to join in at TCH.  I am also studying for my RNC.

What do you know about the NICU in the Woman's pavillion? I saw a lot of openings there.  I read it was going to be a level III but what services do the provide and what is the differences between the pavillion vs the actual Med Center.  I love the challenges the sickest of the sick bring.  If you want my email it is lil24leigh@hotmail.com

One more question, I think I remember you saying you were part of the transport team.  Is that a hiring within the hospital.  Transport and ECMO were the next step in my career at my current hospital.  Thanks so much.

Re: ala-1220

  • I will email you soon to get more info  and send your name over to the Associate Director of Nursing over the level II and II nursery.

I do believe the nursery at the Women's Pavilion will be a level III, but the sickest will be in the West Tower.  I believe the WP will have intubated, but will have their limits.

The transport team "Kangaroo Crew" is normally a within hospital hire.  But, you could still apply.  The only thing with KC is that it is Neonatal AND Pediatric Intensive Care transport.  You just take turns on calls so it could be either one.  I don't even know if they are hiring now...but they keep trying to get me back Wink

Let me know if you have any more questions.
