Re: 3 days pregnant...
I love what she posted on 1st Trimester..
People actually thought she meant how long after you pee on it, do the results appear. NOPE she meant after how many negative tests does it magically turn positive. That thread is pure gold entertainment!
Dumb Nest question, but what does MUD stand for? I get the gist but thought I'd ask...
Eyes. They are bleeding.
I just cannot believe anyone is that naive. I cannot.
i hope that is MUD because she doesnt seem very bright.
at the risk of putting myself in the same whacky category, we felt an intuition that we were pregnant. it was probably hopeful anticipation but within a few days my boobs were swollen and tender. my ILs came to visit and i told my MIL that we had started trying and i suspected but hadnt tested yet. i tested that night and was positive. we got pregnant on the first try.. i didnt need any ovulation kit because i can feel it when i ovulate. it is called middlesmertz and it is a crampy feeling. so she could be pregnant, but IS foolish to put a ticker up of 3 days pregnant and if it is not mud her lack of judgement makes me nervous about her procreating...

She and her DH are 18. Supposedly she has posted before about him not allowing her to continue her education or work outside the home.
I call MUD.
I wish I thought it were MUD, but based on the clues presented I'm coming to a different conclusion that I am trying to decide if I want to post here or not. It might offend some people.
You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will be misquoted and used against you. My Blog
Sending you an e-mail.
I have met numerous people just like this in real life. It is actually very sad.

Same here!!
Well, MB basically said what I was thinking, that she's Mormon. Knew far too many mormon girls in HS who knew nothing about sex but got married & started trying to get pregnant right out of HS. My sister's best friend thought she was infertile because she would take HPTs the day after sex & they would be negative. She had 3 children before a conversation with my sister turned into an explanation of what ovulation is & the 2 week wait.
I'm impressed that the poster in the other thread knew that you had to ovulate.
I don't know how she did the math to get a ticker that says 3 days. If you put in your due date it would make the ticker two weeks (from your last period). It's weird that she's so ignorant on basic biology (and thinks FF is too complicated) but can do the math for that!
I read her past posts last night, someone on another board posted them. I feel sorry for her. But she will never listen to anyones advice on the nest (which isn't always bad), she needs to find somewhere else to ask for help if she refuses to believe anyones answer.

I knew I was pregnant both times...more so with DD#2 since I had been through it before. It was VERY early on with her too that I knew I was pregnant...long before the test turned positive. My hormones shift early and I'm wacky early. It's not odd to feel pregnant, but to be a moron who thinks that you can feel something during sex well, that's another story.
i'm sad for her and her future children.
i will add, though, that I woke up one morning and *knew* I was pg. we had been trying for 11 mos and i had POAS many times but this time, when I did and it said negative, i knew it was wrong. i waited 8 days and tested again for a BFP, now a very naughty 4.5 yo named Truitt. I don't remember how long it was after we had sex and my ovulation was unpredictable as well... still, i knew fairly early on. but not because the sex felt different (or we could have been too drunk to notice)
My face hurts from laughing. did you guys see this one?

Where's my email :-)
Really? I had fireworks shoot out of my hoo-ha at the moment of conception.
Fireworks shoot out of my lady parts every time.
Show off.
She doesn't even realize the original post is making fun of HER.
This is my worst fear with my sister on social networking sites now. Sigh. If anyone is my FB friend and you see my sister post on my page, please just move on. She really is mentally retarded with an IQ of 61. Functional enough to have been knocked up just a couple of months after me so we have daughters the same age, but not one you would be excited about procreating any more than this girl. Thank God for my step-mom and dad.
And actually, a decent guy in the military who is the boss of the home would be a dream situation for her, since she really isn't capable of making great decisions but is still worthy of love.

I ended up posting it. I think she's Mormon.
