I saved a cute shirt with scratchy shoulder seams once by using a light layer of fabric glue and strips of soft fabric glue. Take Control!

T&P would be really appreciated this morning. Long story short, we are SO close to finalizing Jack's adoption after a really long and expensive legal process. Who would have thought a completely uncontested step-parent adoption would take nearly 3 years and this much headache? Anyway, We have a meeting with the lawyer this morning, and due to illness, we have no babysitter, so we have to take Dottie, who's in... a mood. I'm sure it'll all work out fine, but because this is such a ridiculously intense process, I'm praying for my nerves to be calm and our lawyer's office not to have anything breakable on Dot-level.

Yay for new cars and cute shirts and adoptions that are going to be finalized without a hitch
I've got my positive pants on today, even if I did sleep terribly. Also, I heard on the radio this morning that Scarborough RenFest had a fire last night - 7 buildings burned, and one person died. This has me really sad, because my sis and I love going there.

ETA: I forgot to tell you guys this yesterday. All of our neighbors have kids and on Saturday we got "the talk" about how if we were going to stay in the group, they needed to see some baby action on our part. They were joking of course but supposedly once you get "the talk" from our one neighbor, you usually have a baby 9 months later. It has happened to three couples in our neighborhood. It is so lame, but I totally hope it's true.
Not on my own mind, no....but if I could only post a screen shot of my FB feed. It's ridiculous right now.

Thanks so much! OMG, I love it. Like so much. But I'm so nervous and scared to drive it--I didn't want to leave it in the parking garage. It has over 300 HP and I went about 59 MPH on the highway. Ben found it for sale on the Club Lexus board and it was such a great deal he couldn't pass it up--even though he had to have it shipped from CA and bought it sight unseen.
And Leslie no, Mel got Ben's parents' old Honda which is a great car--but that is what put the whole thing in motion really. But it's a long story. Hopefully we will find a home for my loyal 9-year old Betsy soon. She has been a great car.

I never had anything but headaches when dealing with TCC. I had to take 4 extra classes because after I was told to sign up for some classes I was told half way through that they wouldn't do anything for my major and I would still have to take the 4 other classes I missed. SO ANNOYED and so glad I'm not dealing with them anymore!

How funny! Mine is a 2008 but it only has 29k miles on it. Ben just happened to find it and showed it to me and I loved it but never thought he would actually get it as we were planning to wait another year. Ben also found my sister's IS250 on Auto Trader that she ended up buying. He loves cars as much as I love weddings.

Auto trader is where we found DH's BMW. It's a pretty good site. Easy to use, etc. Stephie - what kind of car is Betsy?
She is a 2002 Honda Accord coupe EX (4-cylinder). She has been wonderful but she's starting to show her age.
