If your house was burning down and you had the chance to grab 3 things (all people are out of the house). What would it be?
Re: Fire Poll
1. Computer...all pictures are on there
2. Our safe
3. My jewelry box that my great-grandmother gave me
Serendipity3, South Beach, Miami, FL 2012
1. My flashdrives (which are sitting on my nightstand in a small coin purse) all of my pictures are on them.
2. M's baby book.
3. My phone
Good question!
1. Laptop
2. Purse
3. I'd probably move the car so that it didn't burn up as well (we usually park them next to the house).
I feel like this is a really boring answer, but I couldn't think of anything that was absolutely irreplaceable (other than DH, of course).
1. My wedding pics
2. My camera
3. My computer
But, I'd probably want my phone too, I guess I could get my wedding pics reprinted from the photographer.
This is also assuming all pets are out right?!?
1. Laptop
2. Our Safe
3. Phone
Hmm - I would have to go with:
1. Laptop
2. Box with Wedding/Honeymoon momentos & albums
3. Purse
I'm going to count my two dogs as people. So...
1. Box of old pictures (new ones are saved at Shutterfly)
2. Purse
3. A quilt my Grandma made
Ohh man this is tough, I'd need to grab more than 3 LOL
1. Wedding album
2. Laptop
3. Purse
DX: MFI
Taking a break from being poked and prodded
Hmmm.....
1. My external hard drive that has all my photos stored on it.
2. Purse
3. Camera
Really, other than losing my pictures, I can live without everything else.
Also assuming that pets count as people,
1. My wedding/engagement rings
2. Cell phones
3. The lockbox which has all our important doc's (passport, etc.). It's technically supposed to be fireproof, but they don't always work.
This exactly!
Assuming the cats are safe too,
1) Laptop
2) External hard drive
3) Rubbermaid box where I store all my favorite childhood treasures (assuming I could carry it - it's heavy!)
1. wedding ring
2. photos (wedding, kids)
3. after #1 & #2, this is a hard thing to think of....anything else can be replaced....but I'd probably have to say DD's Pooh Bear, she sleeps w/that each night & it's who she needs to hold when she's crying
Assuming the kitties are out as well...
1. Wedding jewelry
2. Envelope w/ birth certificates/marriage license
3. Disks with wedding photos and video
Wow, this is great - I really don't care about a lot of my stuff! LOL!
I didnt think about that. Im embaressed to admit, I have two of these boxes. My husband thinks Im crazy. But Ive held on to things, more for my kids to look at one day. I always hated that my mom never held onto things like this for us kids to look at. My dad has a few things and when I was younger I loved reading the letters my mom sent my dad when they were living apart.
1) Laptop
2) Camera
3) A box of old photos that aren't saved on my laptop?
When I was young we had a fire safety day at school and it scared me to death. Every night when I went to bed I would wrap all of my favorite stuffed animals up in my favorite blanket and keep them right next to me so that if there was a fire I could grab them. I also planned my escape plan if I couldn't make it to either door in my house. I was going to grab my fan and throw it through the window if I couldn't get it open.
