Where to get measured for a BM dress?
My sister is getting married and they decided to move up the date from May to this November so, working on an extremely tight timeline. She just picked out BM dresses this weekend and told me I need to get my measurements to her this week or else I'll have to pay a rush fee on the dress. The dress will be ordered in Buffalo and sent to me.
I tried calling Mary and Patty's Alterations in Thornwood becasue I have used them before but, they are closed for vacation until the middle of next week.
Any idea where I can go in Westchester to get measurements?
Would a shop even do this if I'm not ordering from them?

I can't help with the Westchester part, but I had to be measured for my BFFs wedding that was upstate down here. Any place will take you (at least most of the places in OC were ok when I called them), some charge to do the measurements, I think I paid like $15.

I just remembered there is an alterations place only a block from here. If I have to pay a bit, it will be worth not havign to haul G out in the car and through a dress shop.
