My cousin and his new wife just lost their baby. They were about 32 weeks pregnant. She went in for a routine checkup yesterday, and the doctors couldn't detect a heartbeat. She's in the hospital right now in labour, and I'd just like to ask for a little T&P for not only her, but for my cousin as well. He has a drinking problem, and I'm terrified this will send him off on some sort of bender. His wife is from Germany, and her parents were going to fly to Canada for her baby shower in three weeks. they're coming now at the end of this week to be there for her. I'll be there in three weeks. My other cousin (the would have been future aunt) is driving to where they live now to the hospital.
This is the sweet girl who caught my bouquet at the wedding, and my cousin and her decided to get married the very next day while they were on this side of the country and could have his family there at least. They found out they were pregnant the day after my other cousins got married in early February. the baby was a boy.
edited to change how many weeks pregnant she was
Re: T &P please
Lots of T&P's coming your way. That is so sad to hear!

Sorry for the loss of your....
grandmother, grandfather, aunt, uncle, sister, brother, father, mother. child? nope. This sh!t is so monstrous, not even hallmark will acknowledge the "loss of a child". Every card I went to buy today had basically the same theme, "sorry for your loss, but may the lifetime of memories sustain you". UGH.
I finally found a very generic one. And it's pretty with a sparrow and some flowers.
Here's an update....
Apparently the meds they gave to help induce her didn't work so well, so they upped them and now she is having contractions finally. 30 hours later. My cousin who went to be with them is so upset she's taking a walk around the hospital in a sobbing mess talking to her dad.
