Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Help me find a promotion/birthday gift
DH will be getting promoted next week, and he's super stoked about it. (He was up for a meritorious promotion in February or March, and another guy beat him by 1 point. Then last month, he was 3 points shy of the cutting score.) Plus, his birthday is next Friday.
I'm just not sure what to get him. The only thing he's mentioned wanting is a new watch. So, does anyone have any suggestions? I'd like to keep it around $100-150, unless its something really cool that I know he'd totally love.

He would love a sword, but I can't afford to put that much on my CC right now.

ETA: Also, I'm SO psyched for him. I wish it was THIS Friday!
He does have a watch he can wear to work. He wants this one so he can wear with his nicer uniforms.

Don't get me wrong, I like the watch. I'm just not sure if I should get the watch, or something cooler like the sword. The more I think about the sword, the more I want to get it for him.
