Last night

So, yesterday, around noon, I saw a spot of goop (brownish) in my underwear.  I felt funny, so I called my OB at 4 and they wanted me to go to the hospital.  I went, and they hooked me up to the heartbeat and contraction monitors, and checked my cervix (twice- ouch!).  They kept me for observation for about 2 hours, and then said I should be fine, and that this type of mucus happens sometimes.

Today, I took today off (because they wanted me to take it easy for the next 24-48 hours) and I have this pain in my side.  Also, baby is kicking super hard!  Has anyone else had this happen before?  I am kinda freaked out by it, as I have never spotted before and this pain is scaring me (although, it reminds me of ligament stretching).  But, coupled with what happened last night, I am worrying!

Re: Last night

  • I have no words of advice, as I don't recall something exactly like this...but I just wanted to say I'm thinking positive thoughts for you!

  • I don't have any helpful knowledge, but I would be a little worried too. It seems like they would have noticed if something were wrong when you went in last night though, plus it seems like a good sign the baby is kicking around in there. Keeping you in my thoughts that it's nothing and that the pain goes away soon!

  • You can lose your mucus plug, have it regenerate and lose it again. Let's hope that's all that's happening! Lots of t&ps that baby stays put for a few more weeks!

  • UGH! not fun Tosha! I hope you're feeling better today! Maybe this baby will decide to come early, just not this early!

OH! And I keep forgetting to tell you! Congrats on the promotion!
