LC appt

So I went for my LC appt today, and basically whatever Emily is eating (and she's definitely sucking and not just pacifying on the boob) isn't even enough to make a weight difference on her. So they drew blood to take my prolactin level and she started me on Reglan for 3 weeks to try to increase my supply. I go back next week for another blood draw - oh yay!

In other news, Emily totally just laughed in her sleep! It was so cute, she smiled and everything!

my mom is a certified LC too -- a lot of preemies ( shes a NNICU nurse for 28+ years ) have problems latching -- so if you ever have questions, let me know and I'll ask her.

Ali - have you tried taking fenugreek to help increase your supply?  I still take that on a regular basis and it definitely helps me.  I stopped for a few days and noticed a drastic decrease in mine, so I've stuck with it since the beginning.

I just started taking it last week. My LC said to keep taking it along with the Reglan too. Hopefully they both work!
