Too Early for Halloween Invites?
Okay, so we're known for our Halloween extravaganzas. My question is, is it too early to send out a facebook invitation for our event? We've already had friends tell us they had pending parties, but they were waiting to hear when ours was to know whether they could accept or decline the others.

Thinking of doing cosmetic updates to a dated home? These were our costs.
We're hosting our group's Halloween bash this year, and my husband is already planning to send out a fb std. I think it's a little early, but since in the past we haven't hosted it I think it might be a good idea.
What are you having/doing at your Halloween party? I've never hosted one before and am looking for ideas. Ours is a party for our adult friends, and typically it's a rowdy party.
Ours has been going 5 years strong, and we only ever do FB invites, so I might wait another few weeks to send it out. I think you guys are right; all of our friends know we have annual parties and will more than likely party hop to us if they get multiple invites.
For our parties, we always have beer pong; I make my famous (knock you on your butt) Bobbin' for Apples punch, complete with frozen apples; and I also make lots of food and have lots of loud music and areas to dance/chat. It's really just a bunch of old college friends getting together, but we typically have around 60 people or more pass through during the night.
Is the punch a secret recipe or are you willing to share?
Here it be:
2 2-liters of Sprite; 2 bottles of Apple Pucker (Schnapps); 2 bottles of Apple Vodka. It's like a huge apple-tini. I make sure the ingredients are all as cold as possible, and then I add frozen red apples, thus the "Bobbin for Apples" name. The first year I made it, I had quite a few drunksies try to actually 'bob' the apples.
Of course, the recipe itself is really easy to change and manipulate to your taste. I'm very certain that the more punch I 'test' during the night, the more skewed the alcohol to sprite ratio becomes.
I have always wanted to make jello shots with gummy worms in them, but the idea of some idiot drunk person swallowing it whole and choking on the worm scares the 'bleep' out of me.
Thanks for sharing! It sounds like a headache in a bowl
. I think I might have to give it a try.
