I got a call from VWofAmerica yesterday. They're covering the part cost, I'm covering labor. At least they met me halfway. That part does cost more than the labor, so yay for that!

Ugh, I'm so mad at myself! I had to burn a disc for work last night and I just realized that I left it sitting on the kitchen table. Ugh! Why didn't I put it in my purse? I always forget stuff in the morning.

yeahhhh... its not cheap but I am beyond the "3 years OR 36k mileage" of my warranty and I had to call about 6x to get what I wanted. So, yes. The squeaky wheel DOES get the grease.
