Yesterday

I went to a conference all afternoon and then was tied up with DD all evening.  IDK why, but I was shocked to see nothing new had been posted in nearly 24 hours.

Why so slow, ladies?  Why.so.slow.

Re: Yesterday

  • I was busy all day with the kids yesterday, but I was surprised too to see that nothing went on. Seriously, what happened to this board? Someone needs to post something lively to get it going!

  • I know, I checked the board last night and I couldn't believe there wasn't one post.  I can't remember a time that that has every happened on a weekday!

I have been oh-so busy with my house.  I have been meeting with contractors left and right, pricing materials and on the phone with banks trying to figure out our financing.  Ummm, this is going to be one expensive renovation.  Like I could buy a new car for what we are about to pay :/

  • I know, I'm so sad our board died.  Last night when I had an hour to catch up I thought my computer was broken.  I've been at work a lot lately and I am only here when I'm not working.

Mrs Jason, I feel ya on the home renovations! I have a contractor coming over at 1 today to look at our floors and to finish up our bathroom redo.  Ugh.  I don't want to work tonight, but when I see these high numbers I just feel too guilty to give up my shift when I'm perfectly capable of going in.  Fake perky smile tonight it is :D

Are you really capable of going in or is that what has been causing you all your back pain? I hope at work they let you sit every now and then to get off your feet. I remember working retail and couldn't imagine being pregnant and on my feet all the time. It was killer even when I wasn't pregnant.

I know, stupid back pain is a p.i.t.a.  Actually it literally in my ass, I say back bc it is behind me, but when I see my massage therapist he can tell it's in my glutes.  I talk to my Dr about the pain every appt and I have no restrictions yet.   They said I will probably  need to cut down my hours when I get to around 30 weeks.  They also assure me that the pain will go away after the baby, because I've been concerned about long term damage.  They are encouraging so I like to think that working right now is keeping me strong.  I should also be getting a highly recommended prenatal pilates video and a yoga video in the mail today, which should keep my strrength up, YAY!!

  • I rarely get online unless it's via my phone, which is a p.i.t.a. to respond from.  We're leaving on a 19 day vacation tonight, and every waking moment for the past week has pretty much been spent taking care of the baby and preparing to leave.

On a good note, Kennedy had a follow up cardiology appointment today and they are completely THRILLED with how great she's doing.  We can wean her meds and we don't go back for 2 months. Big Smile

Sara - I had the same horrible butt pain when I was pregnant.  I have a back injury that carries in to my butt and it sucks.  But it DOES get better after you give birth.  Pretty much instantly actually.  Enjoy all the massages you can now, cause once she's here, it'll be awhile!
