Favorite thing about fall
Because it is still hot here I am trying to think about cooler weather. What are some of your favorite things about fall?
1. My shows are back on (The Vampire Diaries, Law and Order: SVU, Extreme Home Makeover)
2. Football. I enjoy watching it but I don't always pay attention to it though. I like Peyton Manning so getting to see him play again will be good 
3. Cooler weather
4. It is almost time for Thanksgiving and Christmas
5. Can drink hot chocolate. It is way to hot here to even think about drinking hot chocolate
6. Candy corn will be out soon. I know you can probably still find it in some places but I usually reserve eating candy corn for halloween.
7. Pumpkins. I don't like to eat pumpkins but I love buying some and putting on the front steps. I might actually talk DH into carving one this year.
8. Trunk or Treat at church. It is neat to see the little kids dressed up and decorating our car
9. Baking (been so hot here that you don't want to turn the oven on that much)
10. Making cards for halloween, thanksgiving and christmas

Holiday visit home
LEAVES!! in the south it is so hot that the leaves just turn brown. Here we get the yellows, oranges and reds, Yay!!
I looove the weather! Fall is my absolute favorite season.
The leaves changing colors is beautiful!
We are growing pumpkins and gourds this year, so Im looking forward to that.
I love going to an apple orchard to pick and have apple fritters, yum!
