Hey Ladies!
My BFF was nominated for the "100 Mommies Changing the World" contest on Babble! Some of you may remember her story: Her husband was killed in Afghanistan (2 years ago tomorrow) by an IED. They have 3 beautiful children, the youngest was only 3 weeks old when her dad was killed and he never was able to meet her (she was born 3 weeks after he deployed).
In the past year and a half, as a way to cope with the loss of her husband and the men and women killed on John's deployment, she has started a running group called Wear Blue: Run to Remember. It is a non profit active running group that runs and trains in honor of the service and sacrafice of the military. The group has grown immensely over the past year and they are getting ready to open 2 more chapters across the country. It's true a powerful group of men and women.
LIsa was nomiated...and I truly believe she IS changing the world. If anyone is capable of changing the world, this girl is.
So...if I could get a moment of your time to help nominate her, that would be amazing.
