Okay, so who watched the Kardashians?  I was watching the new episode last night of their family vacay to Bora Bora....has anyone else seen it?  Her now husband is a jerkface and obnoxious...  yes I laughed when he threw her off the deck into the ocean but dang, that was kind of a steep drop....and when she started sobbing because she lost one of her $75,000 earrings...I laughed again...

 Am I the only one who watches?

The whole marriage has been a little bit hyped here in MN where the groom is from but personally, the whole idea of being famous simply because you have a trust fund thing just bugs me and I go out of my way to avoid participating in the buzz.  :-P

I watch it on Sundays when there is really nothing else on. I think it's a bit appaling how they are so out of touch with the real world. A 10 million dollar wedding and a I can't remember how much $$ registry is so much overkill. I think Kim looked beautiful but I also think that the "tiara" or what ever you want to call it was a bit tacky. I haven't seen an episode with Kris (Humphries) in it yet but I can't help but think, because I am a skeptic, that this is a fame grab for him and a baby grab for her.

We don't have TV (just watch movies, Modern Family and South Park through the internet) and I'm really thankful because I KNOW I'd get sucked into things like the Kardashians as guilty pleasures.

My coworker and I walked over to look at People magazine this morning...(pics of her wedding) and for a 10 million dollar wedding, it was just ok....her cake was hideous.  And she had 3 Vera Wang dresses...

The sad thing is, she is famous because a sex tape of her with Ray J (that singer Brandi from the 90's little brother) that involves one of them peeing on the other (yes, you read that right) was leaked back in the days when Paris Hilton had a new one out every week or so.

I do love me some Nicole Richie, I can't lie, but I just can't get behind the Kardashians. I think it is kind of sick that her family jumped on the sex tape fame train (although I realize there are some other, already famous, people in her family - like her dad and step-dad) and made it into a cash cow.

And honestly, that all says a lot, because I watch a lot of crappy tv and have an unhealthy affection towards Tori Spelling!
