She's Here!

Renee Nicole was born yesterday 10:50 pm 6 lbs 14 oz. 19 1/2 inches with a FULL head of black hair.

Turned out my back pain yesterday morning was the real deal.  I worked a full day with only minor back pain that only lasted until 10:00 am (which turns out was back labor), went to Target to pick up some stuff on my way home and then took a bath.  At 4:00 I tried to lay down to take a nap but that's when the REAL labor started.  Contractions started STRONG and were about 5 min apart from the beginning so we called the Dr. and they said we could head to the hospital and arrived around 6:30 pm.  When I arrived I was already dilated to 5 cm, so they put me in a labor and delivery room right away and got set up for an epideral.  At 7:00 I got my epideral and it was FANTASTIC.  I was confortable until about 10:30 when they checked me and they said I was ready to push.  Dr. was really surprised things were moving along so quickly!  I pushed for only about 20 min and she was born.  It all happened SO fast.  I couldn't believe it.  I figured I would be one of those women who labored for hours on end.  Boy was I wrong!  She's perfect in every way, and we're so happy she's finally here.
