I don't think I've ever introduced myself here. I'm Tina, I'm from south central ky. I'm originally from Glasgow, but grew up and moved to the bustling metropolis of Bowling Green.Jeremy and I got married on Oct 8, 2010, getting extremely close to our first anniversary!I'll entertain you with a few pictures from our nuptials, no one can say no to pretty pretty picturesFirst look at Western's Campus
We met at Barnes and Noble so we had a cute little photo session there before the wedding Formals before the ceremony First Dance
We got married at Lost River Cave, which is gorgeous, but I'm just now realizing that we don't really have any good pics of the cave and all, this is the closet thing I have.... and it's really not that good
Thanks for looking!
Re: I'm a newbie...I think
The cave is very beautiful!! I have seen quite a few weddings done there!
Your weeding looks beautiful! I just tried to convince my fiance we should get married in a cave!He thinks I am crazy, I cannot wait to show him your pictures!!
I am also from South Central Kentucky, but we just moved here a month ago!
Welcome!
I live in Logan Co! We did the LR Cave Trail a while ago, and it was great. I'm not sure that I want to pay the ticket price for such a short trip in the cave. We paid around the same and got to spend 2 hours in Mammoth Cave.
And Western's campus is pretty, but the hills effin KILL me! Every time I'm there, I always think, holy hell I'm glad I went to Murray.
My parents recently visited WKU's campus for the first time. My dad said never thought of the area as being hilly, but now understands why they're the "Hilltoppers."
And OP, welcome! Your pictures are great!

Thanks guys! We like to think they're pretty too, hehe
WKU's hill is indeed a hateful piece of land. I went there and now I work there! Sadly I have to climb the hill quite a bit, but it's good for the calves!
Beautiful dress!! I love the nature shots. Somehow greenery and wedding dresses always look wonderful juxtaposed.
I'm a newly participating member. My guy and I have been married for 3 years, but I only read the emails. We just relocated to Lexington, so since I'm trying to meet some people in the area, I thought I would try out this forum.

We're looking for a church right now. Any suggestions? We don't really want a mega-church, but not one that's too small either. I'm non-denominational and my husband is agnostic, so we want a church that has a community feel, but won't scare us even further away from religion!

We attend a relatively small (we average around 80 or 90 on any given Sunday) Disciples of Christ church. In general, DOC is pretty liberal and open-minded, but you'll probably want a larger one than ours--ours won't waste any time trying to get you to do stuff
A former co-worker attends a Unitarian church, which has a variety of spiritual disciplines.
