An AZ thank you...

Hey ladies,

 I'm going to be staying with a friend in NYC over Labor Day weekend. I'd like to bring her a small thank you for letting me stay with her. I'd like it to be something that is from AZ. I thought about a wine, but I won't be checking luggage for this trip. Any ideas? I appreciate the help!

Personally, I'm a fan of giving the prickly pear flavored candies.  They are tasty and travel pretty well.  I know that they sell them in a bunch of little shops in Old Town Scottsdale, but I'm sure other places sell them too!

We always gift AZ t-shirts. You can never go wrong with a t-shirt to lounge around in!

I've seen a shot glass that says "But it's a dry heat", maybe along with a shirt. My friend from BOS took back candies with scorpions in them and worms.

I also like jalepeno jelly as a gift. It is very yummy over cream cheese with crackers.

That sounds yummy!  But if you try to carry it on, the TSA will be enjoying it before your friend will.  That happened to my dad last time!

I was thinking the same thing.  I also love prickly pear fudge!
