Trish is in pain. She hurt her shoulder at bike practice last night after injuring it last week. Trish is going to the sports med doctor at 11:15. She is thankful that her bike team is sponsored by a sports med doctor's group b/c it can take weeks to get in.
Trish really just wants to be at home laying on her heating pad with a fluffy pillow right now.

Melissa feels like chopped liver (or whatever the kitty equivalent is, since they like liver) this morning. Her DH is out and she's at home with the little rottens. Sally is laying in a chair next to Melissa's chair and is so sweet. Mittens, on the other hand, keeps randomly meowing. She does it when she's lonely/wants attention - most often when DH isn't home. She rarely does it when we're both home. Melissa calls to her and she usually quiets down. She's even gone downstairs to pet her (which is what she wants) and bring her back upstairs to her office, but Mittens just goes back downstairs, waits a little while, and then meows again.
Of course, Melissa asked her DH if Mittens does that when she's not home. Nope. *sigh*

Adventures of A Girl and Her Apron
Eva has never heard of a cookie monster party but has now thought that throwing and adult cookie monster party would be fun. Attending a kids cookie monster party would be just as fun. Eva loves cookies.
Eva did not sleep well last night. Eva was to hot, her brain was to wired and she just couldn't sleep. Eva hopes tonight will be better.
Eva is also excited that she has left over roast chicken for dinner, and doesn't have to make anything for dinner today. She can focus on more important things like watching the Top Chef episode that aired last night.
Kat got her car back yesterday and she is so happy with it!
Her fusebox was FUBAR'd, apparently.

Carla suggests that Samantha stop by the pool in their neighborhood on Saturday afternoon and join in the cookie monster fun.

Samantha went to get her eyebrows threaded and the new lady rubbed something on her face afterward that smells like a mixture of patchouli and diaper wipes. Bleh!

Melissa's appt with her new voc rehab counselor went really well. They are going to do a number of evaluations to determine her needs and it sounds like she'll be getting her cane training. Woohoo!
Melissa understands Lauren's situation. However, she thought drops didn't count against you before drop/add day. She once had to drop a class and the only advice she can give is to think about if you'd rather have a W or whatever grade you may end up with if you stay...
