YAY, Ladies!!! Our offer got accepted 
Woo Hoo!!! Next step - the attorneys need to get in touch and write up a contract, and inspection! I cannot wait to have an inspection. I don't think there is anything super wrong with the house - my dad went there with us and checked out a bunch of the things already, but a real inspection will give us a peace of mind. This house is a foreclosure and it is sold as is at a very good price, but it's still good to know that there's nothing super wrong with it.
I am so excited, it's going to be a long process, but I am so happy that the first step is behind us
