Last time I gave an update the Dr. ordered for me to have an HSG done, and for H to have his little soldiers tested. Well, that was in June, and of course, because of good ol' PCOS, I didn't ovulate, nor have AF in July. So, 5 weeks after I was supposed to start AF, it finally shows on Sunday. So, tomorrow I'm going for the HSG. I'm a little nervous, only cause I don't know what to expect, but will hopefully have results in 3-5 days after. Cross your fingers that everything is good. I'll keep everyone updated and let you know how it goes tomorrow..if you've never had one done before.
Until then, have a great night!
Re: Update on TTC
Good luck tomorrow! I psyched myself up thinking it was going to be worse than it actually was. It wasn't super comfortable, but the discomfort passed quickly (at least I thought it did). The biggest PITA was the dye - because what goes up must come down. There was a lot more dye than I thought there would be.
You should know on the spot the results of your HSG - either the dye spills and everything is clear or you have a blockage. My RE explained everything as it happenned - and I would think your doctor would too because it's a fairly easy diagnosis.
