I'm tired today! The Jays game was pretty fun. We had great seats, but they lost. Whomp whomp.
This weekend we've got our playoff tournament for baseball. So far all I know is that we're playing tonight at 9:10 and then some time tomorrow, at least. Yet another busy weekend. Fun?
What does everyone have on the go this weekend?

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Re: Happy Friday!
Woo hoo! Friday! I get to have a shower in 4 hours! YAY!
I'm sorry for a allergy related updates. I'm so glad I'm off school as this has been the silliest testing I've ever done.
This weekend: Shopping, cleaning out my closet and maybe, just maybe, working out what my school year is going to look like. On Monday, I'm heading to Ottawa and then the cottage. Basically, it's summer's last hurrah.

Hello all!
Last night I went to yoga and it was so hard. It was heated power yoga. I can handle hot yoga (bikram) or unheated power yoga, but the combo of both was a little much. I was down for the count for the rest of the night.
Tomorrow H and I are heading down to the Cape house for a long weekend....right in time for the hurricane to roll through. Our front door is literally only 20 feet from the sea wall so I'm a bit nervous but hopefully it won't be too bad. I'd probably cancel altogether but we should go and "batten down the hatches" before the storm, anyway. Plus, Monday and Tuesday should be nice, so hopefully we'll get some beach time anyway.
Tomorrow night is also our anniversary dinner (yes, we're celebrating almost two weeks late) and I thought we weren't doing gifts - beyond the new iMac we decided to get as a joint gift to both of us - but last night H said something about how much I was going to like my gift...GREAT. So I need to leave work as soon as I can and go find him something now.
Hope everyone has a quick and easy Friday at work!
Morning!
Kaesha--YAY for showers!
Today is my birthday! YAY! We are having a BBQ tonight with a bunch of friends from school, so we are off to the grocery store in a few minutes to get stuff. One of my friends from school is coming over early to work on a presentation that we need to make, so I have to be ready by 3:30. I also need to renew my license this morning. Hopefully I will be able to get in a run and the lawn will dry out enough for me to mow before then.
Have a great day ladies!

Happy Friday!
This Sunday, we're going to attempt our first trip to our usual church with D. We've been going to a different church closer to our house but I really miss our church. And also, we're heading to my parents' place for dinner on Sunday, another first for D. My aunt will be there as well, and she is eager to meet him, but hasn't come by our house because she's scared of our cat. (Yeah I know... scared...of Sherlock?! Ha...)

blenderdance- Happy birthday!
DH and I are going grocery shopping tonight after Preston goes to bed (about 7:30). DH will be working all weekend so me and the boys have a nice quite weekend planned. Jordan has been asking to go the library for a couple of weeks so I think we will go tomorrow morning. I think we will work out in the yard some late in the evening on saturday. Other than that I am looking foward to playng and lounging all day in pj's.
Happy Birthday blender!!!
ringy, scared of Sherlock? Whaaaa?? What is he going to do? Love her to death?
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
Happy birthday, blender!
Yay, Friday! Although I must say, I'm slightly disappointed today. Usually Fridays at work are donut Fridays, but there are no donuts for donut Friday.
We should have a pretty busy weekend. Tonight we're having dinner with the ILs. BIL goes back to Afghanistan early next week so we're all getting together tonight before he has to leave. Tomorrow we have the farmer's market. Then we have a 30th/60th birthday party. It's a father and daughter both celebrating their birthdays. They are fun people so I'm sure the party will be a blast. Sunday I'm planning on heading down to my mom's house as my sister will be in town. Have a great weekend ladies, and to anyone in the path of Irene, stay safe!
Happy Birthday Blender!
Yay for Friday!
I am back to the morning sickness days, lucky me. I have been very sick this week so I am hoping for a restful weekend. We have a lot to accomplish around the house as well.
Tonight, we are supposed to be heading to the state fair. I love fair food but the way I have been feeling I may opt out and stay home. I'm not even convinced I am going to make it through the work day.
I put in my notice yesterday and I am so torn on how to feel. I am excited but scared at the same time to be a SAHM. I have gotten overwhelming comments from my bosses and coworkers though so that has been very refreshing.
Have a great weekend ladies!
blenderdance- Happy birthday!
Raynes good luck at the tournament
Kaesha- I would be so happy to take a shower too!
JaneGold- Have fun celebrating your anniversary!
Today I don't have a lot planned. Running with Dh when I get home and then doing whatever. It's nice to not have plans. Saturday I'm studying while DH takes his flying lesson.
Happy Birthday Blender!
Good morning! TGIF! I'm hoping to get out of here by noon and do some shopping but with payroll and end of the month stuff I'm not sure I'll be able too.
Tonight we're having dinner with J's parents. Tomorrow I have to go to a picnic fundraiser thing for my bosses campaign then we'll be heading to my bf house for a surprise 30th b-day party for her DH. Sunday will be house cleaning, yard work, laundry, and grocery shopping. Whew, I'm exhausted just thinking about all that!
Kaesha-enjoy your shower!
Blender-happy birthday
Jane-please be careful on your trip!
eeeva-your hubby's flying lesson? Like we're talking real aviation? That's awesome!
My weekend is going to be pretty chill, which is nice because I've been go-go-go all this week. Tomorrow I'm making a two-tier cake for my manager's birthday party and we're all going out for Mexican food so that should be fun, then Sunday DH and I are going to a cookout at my grandma's house and afterwards meeting up with a couple who is interested in adopting our foster dog Myles!
Happy Birthday Blender!
So I've been at my school the last 2 days for a conference. I still haven't heard from the other school district, when I called (HR) on Tuesday they said they still hadn't made a decision, so I called the principal yesterday at the end of the day and he was in a meeting, I left a voicemail. I need to sign my contract for my current district today I can't really put it off much longer. They said they would call either way, but I need to know before close of business today. I'm not feeling very confident, but I'd rather not be stuck in a contract on the off chance they offer it to me.
Aside from that today is Myles' 2 month appointment where he gets all his shots. Gotta admit, I'm pretty nervous about it. I think I will have earned a treat after surviving it.
This weekend S is working 2 double shifts so it's me and the babe, and I need to get my eyebrows waxed something fierce before the start of the school year. My plan? To spend as much time loving on Myles as I can because I go back to work Monday (regardless of the district)
Morning everyone!
Blender - Happy Birthday!
Kaesha - Yay for shower day!
JaneGold- I must admit I giggled with "hot yoga," my first thought, this board and isn't it always hot?
Well DH and I got a babysitter for tomorrow, so we will be enjoying our date day by stacking wood, and pulling in all the kids toys since they are still predicting high winds and rain for us Sunday into Monday from the Hurricaine. Of course I am somewhat along the coast so we will get the brunt of it.
Saturday morning I will be bringing the boys for a haircut again, and picking up Christians prescription for his surgery. I can't believe it is on Monday. I have to be there with him bright and early, so I will probably be checking in from the waiting room, or hopefully recovery room.
Have a great weekend ladies!

Blender - Happy Birthday!
MO - It will hurt you more than it hurts Myles. Just make sure to have a bottle ready and plenty of cuddles.
Mandee - Hope Irene moves out to sea and doesn't touch down.
We're going to have a busy weekend but nothing planned for tonight. Tomorrow is my niece's birthday and we still have to go buy her gift before the party. I also have a ton of cleaning to do so I'll probably have to wake up a bit early to get on that tomorrow and Sunday morning.
Sunday we're going to a live fantasy football draft potluck. Manuel is in a league with his friends and I'm going for the food and to hang out with my friends.
Yep real aviation. Dh has always been interested in planes. His parents were both in the Air Force and Air traffic controllers. So DH has always loved aviation. He has always wanted to be a pilot. I bought him his first flight lesson awhile back and he is finally getting to use it. He wants to get his pilot's license by the time he's 30 so we are running out of time.
He is really excited about it.
Happy Friday!
I took the morning off today to hang with my BFF before she headed back to the airport, so I am just now getting to work. I'm waiting to hear from the nurse, so I'll post as soon as I hear something.
We were going to the MLK dedication Sunday, but they've postponed it due to the hurricane, so now we have no plans, which is kind of awesome.
ETA: Happy Birthday, blender!

Tonight will be getting prepped for Irene this weekend. Tomorrow we'll be too busy to worry about it. For the most part, we're just moving anything loose into the garage and making sure our freezer is stocked enough to stay cold in case of power outages. At the most, I think we'll be getting a crap ton of rain. The worst part is that our storm drains in the street are just holes. There's no sewer attached to it. Awesome...not. We've already gotten enough rain that they'll flood pretty much instantly. Good luck to everyone else in the path.
JaneGold* You might want to check, but I think the bridge to the Cape is getting shut down soon. You might not be able to get there at all if you don't leave soon, or if they even let you across.
Tomorrow our friend is bringing over their 11 week old malamute puppy for us to puppysit for the day. I'm hoping it has the effect of making me not want another puppy rather than melting my heart to make me rush out and get one against my better judgement. My mom's also in town this weekend. She lives near the beach in RI, so it's better to head this way and let her house do its thing.
