4th Street Live Recs and Hotel Recs
I am going to Louisville on September 17th for an extended birthday weekend with the girls and wanted to see if anyone recommended the Galt? or another hotel that is close to 4th Street Live and what is/are the best bars to go to

The Galt House is really nice. The Hyatt is also pretty close to 4th Street Live, but going away from the River.
I would recommend eating at The Pub at 4th Street. They make an ASTOUNDING fish and chips dinner. And we always like going to Howl at the Moon when we're there. It's a dueling piano bar.
The Galt House is nice and right by the river. My girlfriends and I stayed at the Marriott for my bachelorette party and it was also nice and within walking distance to 4th Street Live.
There are several hotels downtown, so if you're not set on one particular hotel then betting on a 4 star hotel on Priceline might be an idea as well.
I also second the PP's rec. of going to Howl at the Moon, the piano bar.
