Do any of you ever get sore on the inside after sex? Like, way deep inside you? Almost where it feels like your ovaries are bruised?
I had sex with my guy last night, and once this morning, and today I am in so much pain. He is big, and we haven't seen each other in about two weeks... but I just don't remember ever feeling this soreness below the belly button before.
It could be the start of a UTI, but I wouldn't think I'd feel it this fast. I mean, we JUST had sex this morning and last night. Seems too soon? It just literally feels like someone punched me below the belt right by both of my ovaries. ![]()
Side note... I've had UTI's before, so I know what they feel like. This doesn't feel like I have burning when I urinate or bleeding or anything. It's just a really really bad sore feeling, sort of like my tummy is bloated or sensitive right now. Anyone felt this before?
Re: Sore on the inside
You may have something going on, such as a fibroid or other issue -- do certain positions feel very uncomfortable to you?
See both a gyn and an internist. Get a thorough checkup from both. You might want to see if they would suggest an ultrasound even if nothing shows up on a manual exam. Good luck.
I'd wait a day or two, then if it doesn't get better, go to a doctor. I have this happen on occasion, if it's been awhile since FI and I last had sex, and then when we do, they're lengthy and more than once in a 24 hour period. It usually goes away by the next day. He probably irritated the opening to your cervix, which can be pretty sensitive.
Regular pain relievers usually take the edge off. I wouldn't worry too much about it unless it doesn't get better by tomorrow.

I've had it happen before when DH went in at an angle. I went to the GYN because moving and urinating hurt. They did an ultrasound and saw that one ovary was a lot bigger than the other and it was pressing against one of the ureters (tube that goes from your kidney to your bladder). Turns out that he was effectively "punching" my ovary with every thrust. The GYN gave me some motrin, told me to try a different position, use extra lube, and come back for a checkup in a month.
Thanks for all of the advice, ladies. Very helpful. I started feeling better by Friday night, and we had sex a lot this weekend (about 5 times), and I actually feel good today. I'm so glad the pain is gone.
Probably a combination of not having it for a long time, combined with a lot of frequency and his size all at once.
I've been getting regular check ups at my gyno, and I actually go in tomorrow to get the results back from my colposcopy, so I have a lot of questions to ask her
