1. I love that we can do whatever we want with our house. I hate that you have to pay to fix everything!! haha
2. I love the flexibility of my job and the people I work with. I hate how far it is from where I live.

1. I love being able to do whatever I want to my house without having to answer to someone first. I hate being totally responsible for anything that happens to the house like redoing your roof, or buying a new water heater etc.
2. I love helping people and meeting ALL different kinds of people. Each day is different. I hate all the politics and the mean drunk patients.
3. I love skiing and breathing in the cold air. But, I hate that I have to heat my house with the ridiculously high heating prices this winter! I also HATE HATE HATE scrapping ice and snow off my car!

We are renters, one thing I love is that anything major is not out responsibility, one thing I hate is that it's not "ours" and we can't really do anything to it.

1. As a houseowner, I love that it's ours. I love that we can do what we want to it and take pride in it when we've improved it well. I love that there's always something to do to make it better and more "ours."One thing I hate about it is that there's always something to fix, no matter what. If it's not the aesthetics, it's the functionality, like the furnace, the dishwasher, or the windows.
2. I'm a teacher. Although I'm on an extended maternity leave so that I can be at home w/ my daughter, I'm still a teacher, and I'll always think of myself as one. What I love about the job is that I definitely make a difference, whether it's socially, emotionally, or academically. I love that what I do matters, if not to the parents, then definitely to the kids. I love that it's important, even if it's not always recognized as such. What I hate is its politics. And I mean HATE.
3. I don't love one single thing about the cold weather. I can't stand the winter. I don't think it's pretty, I don't think it's fun, I don't think it's anything but crappy and horrible!!!!! I despise winter and wish I could skip it.
4. I love so many things about my husband. He's my best friend. He's one of the most genuine people I've ever met. He's kind, honest, loyal, smart, hard-working, funny, affectionate. The list goes on. He's an amazing father and he tries sooo hard to do right by me. We're very different in many ways, but we make each other better people. What I dislike about him (because I don't hate anything about him) is that he isn't the most organized person ... he's pretty scattered ... and that tends to disrupt the daily flow of life.
5. I love that my body is very flexible ... I love that it pretty much does what I want and expect it to do when I take care of it. What I don't care for is my height (I like being petite but I would like to be 3 inches taller) or the asymmetry. I'd also like a smaller forehead and thicker hair. But the way I figure it, if I can be cancer-free until the day I die, I'll take what God gave me.
