I really didn't want tomatoes anyhow!

Thank you all for your assistance over the last two months.

My maintainance people didn't arrive in time to remove my plants & furniture from my patio.  I was able to move the basil and a few other herbs inside but the tomato drums were far too heavy and they kept promising me to send someone to move them.

The wind is picking up and I'm in a highrise facing the East River.

yeah, my tomatoes are fvcked by morning, no question

Re: I really didn't want tomatoes anyhow!

  • So did they survive? And also, why is maintenance responsible for moving your personal stuff?

  • yes, they did survive

The building maintenance had put notices out that if you were unable to move patio equipment, to tell them and they would send workers to help.  I'm temporarily disabled and need a crutch to walk.

Actually, they called me twice to see if the maintenance men had come becuase I live in a 35 story highrise and anything flying off the building would be their responsibility.

  • i have a good news to tell everyone !
