Tell me about this teether. If you have one, do you think it was worth the money? $25 seems like a lot for a teether.

This is probably not helpful because H is not teething yet but we got one as a gift and it squeaks like a dog toy! I kinda hope she doesn't like it because it's crazy annoying! (I know probably not a good mom thing to say but there are other tethers out there) just my early opinion of the toy.

I don't have any experience either but have heard good things about the amber teething necklaces.  You can find them for under $20.

Don't have Sophie but have seen one in person. Yes, they squeak like a dog toy but i guess some babies like them a lot. J wears a baltic amber teething necklace from Inspired by Finn. I bought it when it was on a website for half off so paid around $13 or so. Well worth the money! I truely think it has helped her be the super happy baby she is throughout teething!

We bought one for LO when she was 3 months and was just starting to drool like crazy. She liked to look at it, but every time she put it in her mouth, she made a disgusted face like I just slapped her. It was a huge waste. She's played with it maybe a handful of times and now doesn't even look at it.

My kid couldn't have cared less about. Although I did buy it for him when he was older (6 months-ish) so that might have been why.

I swear by our Baltic Amber teething necklaces.  We have one for Mara from when she was teething and have one for Peyton for her celiac too.

THIS EXACTLY! They're on those half off sites fairly regularly. I swear it works. Kelly even agrees and that's saying something. If nothing else, I think they're pretty cute. :-)

I actually bought Sophie on amazon last week for like $16 or $17 with free shipping.  I didn't really want to go the necklace route and so far K loves Sophie.  She is drooling and working on her first two teeth and attacks that giraffe!  She likes the squeak sound but can't make it herself so that part isn't annoying yet!  So far it is working great for us and if I can avoid any meds or teething tablets that makes me happy!

What half off sites do you see them on?  Do they sell adult sizes on there too?  I'm very intrigued by this and want to try it on myself!
