:( T&Ps please

We just got word that one of J's grandmothers died this morning. Sad He tries to act like a rock and not show emotion but I just know it's tough on him. She was in a nursing home and as far as they know, she probably died in her sleep. (the nursing home seriously just called even though it's practically 5 and it happened this morning). His parents are currently w/o a car (theirs sh!t the bed and they haven't gotten a new one yet) so they are borrowing his car for hopefully just the week. I say hopefully b/c, well, if I go into labor, he kinda needs it. I've been having even more pains/pressure than normal & contractions that are thankfully not that frequent. Hopefully she will hold off until after the funeral and until his parents decide to get a new car. Total double whammy. Please keep his family in your thoughts & prayers and send vibes to keep Gabby cookin' as well as new car vibes for his parents.

  • Thanks ladies. To add to my stress, we had an incident with Winston yesterday where he ended up pulling on his harness so much he cut off his own air supply. Thankfully he's ok now but it was really stressful when I had to literally run up the street to where J & him were b/c J was freaking out when Winston lost the use of his legs for a few minutes. In hindsight, running while 35 weeks pregnant was not a good idea but Winston is my "baby."

Oh ouch, woman! I couldn't move more than 2 miles per hour in the final weeks of my pregnancy, let alone run. I'm glad Winston's okay though, how scary!  And many T&P to per your original post.  I'm sure Gabby will keep cooking at least a few more weeks, don't worry!
