We went on Saturday to buy everything for our new cat that we were picking up today. I have everything set up for my cat: the cat box, his bowls with food and water, and some little toys. I woke up early this morning to go to work with H to pick up my cat when his colleague gets there. We receive a call right when we arrive at the office from the lady who is bringing the cat to tell us that she lost my cat at the train station. Somehow she dropped the box and the door broke and the cat bolted. I am so disappointed.

I hope the cat is okay.

I'm so sorry! I hope the cat makes it back to you!
We had something similar happen a few months ago. We went to look at a kitten and said we'd take it. A week before we were due to pick it up the lady who had it called up and said that she's not comfortable with the kitten coming to our house because of Maddy so if nobody wanted her in the next week she'd take the kitten to the animal shelter! Yeh not cool....we didn't even know which one she was taking it to so we couldn't go there.
I just spoke with H and still no news on the cat. The poor lady that lost him in the station is devastated. She is planning on taking her husband and kids to the station to look for him after work. I hope she finds him, but I am not holding my breath. More than anything, I just hope he didn't get hurt somewhere
that's horrible! Did she think that boxers make the habit of eating kittens or something? Our boxers were more afraid of our cats than anything!
